Personal Training

We’re called Health Coaches because we emphasize helping you preserve and optimize your health. Our goal is to provide a superior, safe, customized health and fitness regimen, devised by the areas

best-trained, most respected trainers.

Regardless of age, body type, or fitness level, you will benefit from a customized program at Health Coaches. If your goals are as ambitious as training for a marathon or as modest as regaining flexibility, whether you need injury rehabilitation or sports-specific training, Health Coaches will help you achieve results.

In a private consultation, you and your trainer will analyze your lifestyle, exercise, and medical history, diet and nutrition concerns, specific goals and objectives, and motivation levels. Based on this information, your trainer will devise a program that is yours alone. We don’t work from a template. You are unique, and your Health Coaches program is uniquely yours.

Susan Ahlers, M.Ed, CPT

Susan has a master’s degree in education specializing in Exercise Science from the University of Maine and is certified in Applied Functional Science and Movement Analysis and Performance.

She has worked in many capacities throughout her career in the health and fitness industry as a personal trainer, fitness manager, health coach, and in sales and marketing.

With over 30 years of experience in the health and wellness industry, Susan has had the great opportunity to coach a wide variety of clients with many different goals and abilities.

Susan’s passion is to help individuals realize their true potential for reaching their health and wellness goals. She coaches her clients to help find what motivates them and how they can create a plan to see results. She feels wellness goals should reflect the motivation to change, not what others think should be changed and it’s about the small changes that produce lasting results.

Susan was a competitive swimmer in college and has trained for many sporting events. When she’s not working, she likes to run, play golf, paddleboard, kayak, and spend time outside.
